LOCATION - Lat 43°27'02", long 83°26'29" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 sec.20, T.12 N., R.9 E., Tuscola County, MI, Hydrologic Unit 04080205, on right bank 10 ft upstream from bridge on Chambers Road in Wahjamega, and 40 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 645 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR MI-78-1: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1968 to September 1994 (operated as a continuous-record gaging station), water year 2010 (maximum peak discharge only), October 2010 to September 2021 (gage heights and maximum peak discharge), October 2021 to current year (gage heights only).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 632.24 ft above NAVD 88, converted on July 9, 2020 from NGVD 29. Prior to June 19, 1969, nonrecording gage, and June 20, 1969 to Sept. 30, 1994, water-stage recorder, at same site at datum 0.02 ft higher.
