LOCATION - Lat 42°10'05", long 84°04'34" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.33, T.3 S., R.3 E., Washtenaw County, MI, Hydrologic Unit 04100002, on left bank at downstream side of bridge on Sharon Valley Road, 2.5 mi northwest of Manchester.
DRAINAGE AREA - 132 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1970 to September 1981, January 1985 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 893.59 ft above NAVD 88. Prior to July 30, 1970, nonrecording gage at same site and datum.
REMARKS - Occasional regulation caused by many dams upstream from station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 869 ft³/s, Feb. 24, 1985, gage height, 7.21 ft; minimum discharge, 4.0 ft³/s, Oct. 20, 23, 1999, observed; but may have been less during periods of no gage-height record July 3-11, 14-16, 1988.
