WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
REMARKS - As part of the Western Lake Erie Basin project, water-quality sampling began in October 2013 and water-quality concentrations and loads began being computed in March 2014. Automatic samples are collected with an ISCO auto sampler that is housed in the gage house. Monthly and rainfall-runoff event cross sectional samples are collected at this station. Sampling includes: Suspended-sediment (80154), Nitrogen, ammonia as N (00608), Nitrogen, ammonia + organic nitrogen (total, whole water, also known as total Kjeldahl nitrogen (TKN); 00625), Nitrogen, nitrite + nitrate (filtered water; 00631), Phosphorus, phosphate, ortho (also know as dissolved reactive phosphorus (DRP) or soluble reactive phosphorus; 00671), and Phosphorus (total, whole water; 00665).
