LOCATION - Lat 47°05'33.7", long 96°49'01.4" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Clay County, MN, Hydrologic Unit 09020107,
DRAINAGE AREA - 19,000 mi², including 3,800 mi² in closed basins (StreamStats v. 4.3.8)
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

March-May 2019 (gage height and discharge for spring event only)

Gage Height.--October 2019 to current year.

Discharge.--October 2019 to current year.

GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 832.25 ft North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88, Survey done by USGS). 
REMARKS - Records good except for the 2021 water year, when record was fair.  Estimated discharges are poor.

REGULATION - Flow regulated by upstream reservoirs on the Red, Sheyenne, and Maple Rivers.  Negligible diversions.
