LOCATION - Lat 39°30'24.2", long 88°31'38.2" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.4, T.12 N., R.6 E., Moultrie County, IL, Hydrologic Unit 07140201, on left downstream side of bridge on County Highway 3 (1500 E), 3.3 mi south of Allenville, and at mile 5.8.
DRAINAGE AREA - 34.6 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR IL-81-1: 1980.
Revisions: Gage datum was updated to 616.39 ft NAVD88 on June 6, 2023, as determined by a GNSS Level II survey. Gage datum was previously published as 617.00 ft NGVD29 (616.76 ft NAVD 1988) from levels by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

SURFACE-WATER DISCHARGE AND STAGE: Maximum discharge, 4,870 ft³/s, June 19, 2015, from rating curve extended above 3,100 ft³/s, gage height, 14.64 ft; no flow for many days in most years.
