LOCATION - Lat 45°51'02.96", long 113°04'06.10" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 SE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.10, T.1 N., R.12 W., Silver Bow County, MT, Hydrologic Unit 10020004, in SE1/4 SE1/4 NE1/4 sec. 10, T.1 N, R. 12 W., Silver Bow County, Hydrologic Unit 10010004, on right bank, 10 ft downstream from bridge on State Highway 43, 0.4 mi upstream of Tie Creek, 7 mi northwest of Wise River, MT, and at river mile 73.7.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,604 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 1979 to September 1981, August 2009 to June 2021 (seasonal records only).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation 5,700 ft, from topographic map, using North American Datum of 1927. The gage is the property of Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation.
COOPERATION - Records were provided by the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation and reviewed by the U.S. Geological Survey.
REMARKS - Numerous diversions for irrigation occur upstream of gage.
