06025250 BIG HOLE RIVER AT MAIDEN ROCK, NEAR DIVIDE, MT
LOCATION - Lat 45°42'04.57", long 112°44'09.49" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 SE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.32, T.1 S., R.9 W., Beaverhead County, MT, Hydrologic Unit 10020004, on left bank at bridge on county road, 0.1 mi upstream from Moose Creek, 0.3 mi north of Maiden Rock, 5.2 mi northwest of Melrose, and at river mile 48.3.
DRAINAGE AREA - 2,199 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1997 to October 2002, March 2008 to current year (seasonal records only).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation at the site is 5,300 ft, referenced to the North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
REMARKS - Numerous diversions for irrigation upstream from station.
