06283995 Shoshone River above Willwood Dam, near Ralston, WY
LOCATION - Lat 44°39'40.38", long 108°55'39.10" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NH 1/4 SE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.17, T.54 N., R.100 W., Park County, WY, Hydrologic Unit 10080014, on left bank 1.65 miles upstream from Willwood Dam and about 5 miles southwest of Ralston Wyoming.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,846 mi².  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2018 to October 2021 (discontinued).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 4,521 ft above sea level (NAVD88), from digital elevation model. 
REMARKS - Flow regulated by Buffalo Bill Reservoir. Natural flow of stream affected by storage reservoir, power development, and diversions upstream from station for irrigation.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - TURBIDITY: Maximum, above 5000  formazin nephelometric units (FNU) (tops out at 6352, sensor only rated to 5000 FNU) many days in May and September, 2019; minimum, < 5.0 FNU many days throughout the period.
