LOCATION - Lat 45°27'39", long 107°44'55" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 sec.27, T.4 S., R.32 E., Big Horn County, MT, Hydrologic Unit 10080016, at bridge on County Road 327 (Pryor Cutoff Road), about 1.3 miles west of St. Xavier MT
DRAINAGE AREA - 19,900 mi². 19,900 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 1, 2012 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 3,030 ft, referenced to the North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
REMARKS - After November 1965, flow has been regulated by Bighorn Lake. Major regulation prior to November 1965 occurred from 4 reservoirs in Wyoming and one in Montana.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood of June 11, 2011 reached a stage of 11.6 ft, present datum, from temporary gage, discharge, 15,590 ft³/s.
