06412810 CLEGHORN SPRINGS AT RAPID CITY, SD
LOCATION - Lat 44°03'32", long 103°17'49" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 NW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.08, T.1 N., R.7 E., Pennington County, SD, Hydrologic Unit 10120110, on left bank of the outflow of Cleghorn Springs, within Cleghorn Springs Fish Hatchery, and 0.2 mi west of Canyon Lake on State Highway 44.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1992 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and sharp-crested weir. Datum of gage is 3,367.17 ft above NAVD of 1988. Prior to conversion to NAVD88  datum, datum of gage was published as 3,369.1 ft above NGVD of 1929.
REMARKS -

Accuracy of records for water years prior to 2014 are noted in the individual Annual Data Reports for those water years. For water years 2014 onward, records good except for Oct. 1, 2013 to Sept. 30, 2014, which are fair and estimated discharges, which are poor, unless otherwise noted. Record quality ratings may not be included in the water-year summary for approved records newer than 09/30/2018. Record quality is still being rated internally. Flows may vary depending on operational activities of fish hatchery. From October 1987 to September 1992, Cleghorn Springs was published as three gaging stations: 06412600, 06412700, and 06412800.
