LOCATION - Lat 42°51'21", long 97°53'06" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 NE 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.24, T.93 N., R.60 W., Bon Homme County, SD, Hydrologic Unit 10170101, on left bank at east edge of Springfield at mile 832.20.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 1967 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1,201 ft above NAVD88.  Prior to conversion to NAVD88, datum was published as 1,200 ft above NGVD29.
REMARKS - Accuracy of records for water years prior to 2014 are noted in the individual Annual Data Reports for those water years. For water years 2014 onward, records good. Stage is regulated by Gavins Point Dam 21.2 mi downstream. Prior to Oct. 1, 1980, gage heights in files of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Satellite data-collection platform at station.
