LOCATION - Lat 40°43'44", long 99°23'55" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.29, T.9 N., R.18 W., Buffalo County, NE, Hydrologic Unit 10200101, on right downstream side of bridge, 1.1 mi northwest of Elm Creek, NE.
DRAINAGE AREA - Not determined.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-US-2008: 2007(M).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 1996 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry. Datum of gage is 2,268.23 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
REMARKS - Accuracy of records for water years prior to 2014 are noted in the individual Annual Data Reports for those water years. For water years 2014 onward, records good except for discharges less than 1.0 ft³/s, which are poor; unless otherwise noted. Spring and summer flows affected by fluctuating inflows from the Dawson, Gothenburg, and Cozad Irrigation Canal Systems. Flow history indicates that flow will begin a few days after the canals are filled in early to mid-May and will terminate a few days after the canals are shut off in mid-September.
