LOCATION - Lat 39°24'03.5", long 94°43'36.6" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 SE 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.16, T.53 N., R.34 W., Platte County, MO, Hydrologic Unit 10240012, on downstream side of center pier at Sharps Bridge, 0.2 mi upstream from Jowler Creek, 3.3 mi downstream from Little Platte River, 3.6 mi south of Camden Point, and at mile 25.1.
DRAINAGE AREA - 2,380 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Revisions: Gage datum was updated to 753.98 ft NAVD88 on June 14, 2022, as determined by a GNSS Level II survey. Gage datum was previously published as 754.23 ft NGVD29 from levels.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Dec 1978 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 753.98 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
REMARKS - Accuracy of records is discussed in the annual Station Analysis archived at the USGS MO Water Science Center.   Flow slightly regulated by Smithville Reservoir (station 06821140), 17 mi upstream on the Little Platte River.
