LOCATION - Lat 37°51'43.3", long 94°23'57.3" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 SW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.31, T.36 N., R.31 W., Vernon County, MO, Hydrologic Unit 10290104, on left downstream wingwall of Old Pumphouse Bridge, 26 mi above Osage River, and 2.0 mi northwest of Nevada.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,074 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Oct 2003 to current year. Oct 2000 to Sep 2003, records collected at site 5 mi downstream, published as Marmaton River below Nevada (06918065).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage 729.23 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
REMARKS - Accuracy of records is discussed in the annual Station Analysis archived at the USGS MO Water Science Center.   
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood of Oct 1986 reached a stage of 62.2 ft (by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers), at former site.
