LOCATION - Lat 38°51'17", long 104°52'39" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.03, T.14 S., R.67 W., El Paso County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 11020003, on left bank 200 ft upstream from diversion, 0.5 mi east of bridge on U.S. Highway 24, 1.0 mi downstream from Sutherland Creek, and 3.3 mi northwest of courthouse in Colorado Springs.
DRAINAGE AREA - 102 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR CO-99-1: 1997 (M). WDR-US-2011: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 1958 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry, crest-stage gages, and V-notch weir. Sloping crest-stage gage added to left bank during Water year 2023. Elevation of gage is 6,110 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. Feb. 4 to Apr. 15, 1992, gage temporarily located 80 ft upstream, at same datum.

Water year 2016; records fair except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2017; records poor. Water year 2018; records poor. Water year 2019; records fair except for flows above 120 ft³/s, and estimated daily discharges, which are poor.
