LOCATION - Lat 39°01'51.7", long 104°50'47.8" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.01, T.12 S., R.67 W., El Paso County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 11020003, on U.S. Air Force Academy, on right bank 300 ft downstream from Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad bridge, 0.7 mi upstream from North Gate Boulevard, and 1.7 mi downstream from Beaver Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA - 81.4 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-US-2011: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 1985 to September 2003, October 2003 to September 2006 (seasonal records only), October 2006 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry and a crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 6,640 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. Prior to January 19, 2012, at site 400 ft upstream at datum 3.78 ft higher.
