07126485 PURGATOIRE RIVER AT ROCK CROSSING NEAR TIMPAS, CO
LOCATION - Lat 37°37'06", long 103°35'35" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.10, T.28 S., R.55 W., Las Animas County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 11020010, on left bank at Rock Crossing, 1.4 mi upstream from Minnie Canyon, 2.2 mi downstream from Beaty Canyon, and 17 mi southeast of Timpas.
DRAINAGE AREA - 2,758 mi² of which 11.8 mi² probably is noncontributing.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR CO-87-1: 1984-86 (M). WDR-US-2011: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 4,350 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. June 1, 1983 to July 17, 1985, at site 500 ft downstream at same datum.
