LOCATION - Lat 36°51'53", long 94°52'43" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in sec.36, T.28 N., R.22 E., Ottawa County, OK, Hydrologic Unit 11070206, near left downstream wingwall of State Highway 125 bridge, on southwest side of Miami, 1.5 mi upstream from Tar Creek, 2.8 mi downstream from Coal Creek and at mile 143.7. Actual Coordinates: 36.870451, -94.883062
DRAINAGE AREA - 6,011 mi². From automated delineation using 10-meter National Elevation Dataset digital elevation model data dated 10/01/2006 and Watershed Boundary Dataset dated 10/01/2006, using Albers Equal-Area Projection, North American Datum 1983.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR 2012: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1994 to current year (gage heights only).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum is 1.25 feet above NAVD 88. Current datum was determined by a GNSS Level II survey (REF FRAME: NAD_83(2011)(EPOCH:2010.0000) ITRF2014 (EPOCH:2021.5878)[NAVD88 (Computed using GEOID18)]) and tied to RM-13. Prior to 10/01/2021 the datum was 1.10 feet above NGVD 1929 (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' datum).
