LOCATION - Lat 35°19'27", long 97°43'25" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.22, T.9 N., R.4 W., Canadian County, OK, Hydrologic Unit 11090202, Located above the center of the channel near middle of bridge. 1.2 miles below Worley Creek, and 4.2 miles south of Mustang at mile 219.7

DRAINAGE AREA - 25,134 mi² of which 4,637 mi² probably is noncontributing. From automated delineation using 10-meter National Elevation Dataset digital elevation model data dated 10/01/2006 and Watershed Boundary Dataset dated 10/01/2006, using Albers Equal-Area Projection, North American Datum 1983.

GAGE - Datum of gage from October 1, 2021 to current is 1168.42 feet above NAVD of 1988 after 10 feet was added to the stage record changing the previous datum. The Datum of gage from July 30, 2019 to September 30, 2021 is 1178.42 above  NAVD of 1988 determined by GNSS Level II Survey using Alltera network with RTK Trimble R-10 tied to RM-3 by USGS Personnel on July-30-2019. Prior to July-30-2019 the Datum of gage was 1168.60 ft NAVD 1988.

REMARKS -

10/01/2022 - 09/30/2023: records fair.

Flow regulated since October 1964 by lake Meredith (station 07227900) located in Texas. Flow is affected by effluent.
