LOCATION - Lat 34°30'43", long 98°53'11" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 NW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.33, T.1 N., R.16 W., Tillman County, OK, Hydrologic Unit 11130203, on northside of dam near gate tower and 59 mi above Cache Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA - 57.1 mi². from automated delineation using 10-meter National Elevation Dataset digital elevation model data dated 10/01/2006 and Watershed Boundary Dataset dated 10/01/2006, using Albers Equal-Area Projection, North American Datum 1983.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR 2012: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 12, 2007 until gage funding discontinued on September 30, 2022. 
GAGE - Water stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1230ft above NGVD of 1929 obtained from TopoMap.
REMARKS - 10/01/2021 - 09/30/2022: records fair. Quality of data for other periods can be obtained by contacting the Oklahoma-Texas Water Science Center. Reservoir is formed by earthen dam with uncontrolled grassed spillway, elevation 1,211.00 ft. Primary concrete tower spillway 1,200.30 ft. Storage began in 1974. Reservoir is used for water supply for the City of Frederick, recreation use, and flood control. U.S. Geological survey satellite telemeter at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum contents 27,540 acre-ft, Jun. 30, 2007, elevation, 1,212.45 ft; minimum daily content, 2,130 acre-ft, at times.
