LOCATION - Lat 34°27'44", long 94°38'06" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.13, T.1 S., R.25 E., McCurtain County, OK, Hydrologic Unit 11140108, on right downstream abutment of bridge on Highway 4, .5 mi east of Smithville, 0.6 mi downstream from Rock Creek, 3.5 mi upstream from Big Eagle Creek, and at mi 55.6.
DRAINAGE AREA - 322 mi². from automated delineation using 10-meter National Elevation Dataset digital elevation model data dated 10/01/2006 and Watershed Boundary Dataset dated 10/01/2006, using Albers Equal-Area Projection, North American Datum 1983.
REVISIONS HISTORY -

WDR OK-99-2: 1994(M); 1995(M). WDR 2012: Drainage area.

Discharge record was revised within the period of 12/12/2022 to 2/9/2023 after updating M194 made on 2/9/2023 from 6470cfs to 6720cfs and adjusting associated shifts.

GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 665.45 feet above NAVD88 determined by GNSS Level II Survey using Alltera network with RTK Trimble R-10 tied to RM-2 by USGS personnel on 08-07-2019. Prior to 08-07-2019 the datum of the gage was 664.70 ft above NGVD of 1929.
