08072350 Buffalo Bayou near Fulshear, TX
LOCATION - Lat 29°43'22", long 95°46'01" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Fort Bend County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12040104, on right bank at downstream side of bridge on Peek Road, about 200 ft downstream from Little Prong (bayou) 4,300 ft upstream from Mason Road, 8.3 miles east northeast of Fulshear.
DRAINAGE AREA - 81.7 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 1986 to current (annual maximum).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is NAVD of 1988, 2001 adjustment. Prior to Oct. 1, 2007, datum of gage 85.27 ft above NGVD of 1929, 1978 adjustment (84.36 ft above current datum). Satellite telemeter at station.
REMARKS - Gage has backwater from Barker Reservoir during large storm events. Some records listed in the "Period of Record" for surface water and water quality may not be available electronically.
