LOCATION - Lat 31°30'24", long 96°19'28" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Limestone County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12070103, 12 ft to left and 25 ft downstream from left end of bridge on State Highway 164, 5.1 mi southwest of Freestone, and 8.2 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 97.2 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR TX-92-2: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 1975 to June 1978 (periodic gage-height and low-flow measurements only), July 1978 to current year.
GAGE -

Water-stage recorder.  Satellite telemetry at station.

Datum of the gage: 362.78 ft NAVD88 based on a Level 2 Static GNSS survey processed through OPUS, Ref Frame NAD83 (2011)(EPOCH:2010.0000) ITFR2014 (EPOCH:2024.8272) and Geoid 18. The survey was completed on October 29th, 2024, while occupying a TRM referenced to local gage datum via differential levels. 

Prior to 10/29/2024, the Datum of gage was 362.94 ft above NGVD29, established via differential levels using USC&GS BM: Y 252-1952 (PID BZ0024).

REMARKS - Records fair. No known regulation or diversions. No flow at times. Some records listed in the "Period of Record" for surface water and water quality may not be available electronically.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum stage since at least 1950, 19 ft in Apr. 1957, from information by local residents.
