LOCATION - Lat 29°48'30", long 96°05'44" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Waller County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12070104, at downstream side of bridge on F.M. 1458, 1.1 mi northeast of San Felipe, and 5.5 mi upstream from Interstate 10 bridge.
DRAINAGE AREA - 44,670 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Aug. 2013 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is NAVD of 1988. Satellite telemeter at station.
REMARKS - Since installation of gage, at least 10% of contributing drainage area has been regulated. There are many diversions above station for irrigation, municipal and industrial uses, and oil field operations. Some records listed in the "Period of Record" for surface water and water quality may not be available electronically.
