08329840 HAHN ARROYO AT ALBUQUERQUE, NM
LOCATION - Lat 35°07'33.16", long 106°35'25.09" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Bernalillo County, NM, Hydrologic Unit 13020203, 860 ft below San Mateo Boulevard bridge on right bank, 750 ft north of Comanche Road, and 2,050 ft south of Montgomery Boulevard in Albuquerque.
DRAINAGE AREA - 4.23 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR NM-99-1: 1992-98(M) (mean daily values). Prior to February 22, 2024 the datum of the gage was 5190 ft above NGVD29 (determined via topographic map).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 1978 to September 1996 (seasonal records), October 1996 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry, crest-stage gage, and concrete-lined channel. Datum of gage is 5176.92 ft above NAVD88 as determined by a GNSS Level II rapid-static survey performed by the USGS on October 12, 2023. Prior to 1992, at site on downstream side of San Mateo Boulevard bridge, at different datum.
REMARKS - Water years 2014-2015; records good except for estimated discharges, which are poor. Water years 2016-2018; records fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor. Some minor streamflow may exist on days when daily mean discharges have been recorded as zero due to the sensitivity limits of the streamflow-monitoring equipment. Development within basin is predominantly residential, but there are some commercial areas.
