LOCATION - Lat 35°04'27.88", long 107°45'04.01" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 SW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.230, T.10 N., R.9 W., Cibola County, NM, Hydrologic Unit 13020207,
DRAINAGE AREA - 2,300 mi² of which 1,130 mi² probably is noncontributing.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 1936 to September 2004, January 2012 to current year. Previously published as "Rio San Jose near Grants, NM".
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 6,272.92 ft above NAVD of 1988.
COOPERATION - Operated in cooperation with Acoma Pueblo.
REMARKS - Water year 2014; records good except for estimated discharges, which are poor. Water years 2015-2016; records fair. Water year 2017; records good. Water years 2018-2019; records fair.
