09010500 COLORADO RIVER BELOW BAKER GULCH NEAR GRAND LAKE, CO
LOCATION - Lat 40°19'33", long 105°51'22" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.12, T.4 N., R.76 W., Grand County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 14010001, on left bank 500 ft downstream from Baker Gulch, which includes Bowen Gulch drainage basin, and 5.5 mi northwest of town of Grand Lake.
DRAINAGE AREA - 63.8 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-US-2011: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 1953 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 8,750 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.
REMARKS - Water year 2014; records good except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2015; records good except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2016; records good except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2017; records good except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. However, field inspection during Aug. 2006 found that Bowen Gulch is now a tributary to Baker Gulch.
