LOCATION - Lat 39°07'09.7", long 106°37'26.1" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Pitkin County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 14010004, at left wingwall of outlet culvert of Roaring Fork Diversion Dam, 0.25 mi upstream from Lost Man Creek, and 11.5 mi southeast of Aspen.
DRAINAGE AREA - 9.03 mi².

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1980 to September 1986 and June 2009 to current year (seasonal records only). Intermittent discharge records and miscellaneous discharge measurements collected by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation from October 1986 to October 2008.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry and 90-degree V-notch weir. Elevation of gage is 10,520 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. Prior to June 17, 2008 at site 500 ft downstream, at different datum.
REMARKS - Water year 2014; records good except for flows below 0.05 ft³/s, and estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2015; no estimated daily discharges. Records good except for flows below 0.05 ft³/s, which are poor. Station discharges indeterminate for the periods June 3 to Aug. 3, and Aug. 8 to Sept. 30. Diversions from Lost Man Creek via canal into Roaring Fork River immediately upstream of Roaring Fork Diversion Dam. Roaring Fork Diversion Dam also diverts some of the Roaring Fork River, via tunnel, to Grizzly Reservoir on Lincoln Creek. Flow completely regulated by Roaring Fork Diversion Dam.
