LOCATION - Lat 39°13'30", long 107°48'40" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.06, T.10 S., R.93 W., Mesa County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 14010005, in gate house of Vega Reservoir dam on Plateau Creek, 8.0 mi east of Collbran.
DRAINAGE AREA - 24.1 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 2003 to September 2006, October 2017 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry. Datum of gage is 7,984.00 ft above NGVD of 1929 (levels by U.S. Bureau of Reclamation).
COOPERATION - Capacity tables provided by U.S. Bureau of Reclamation.
REMARKS - Reservoir is formed by an earthfill dam. Dam completed October 1962. Capacity 33,811 acre-ft at elevation 7,984.0 ft, crest of spillway. Dead storage below elevation 6,469.0 ft, 828 acre-ft. Figures given are live contents.
