LOCATION - Lat 38°50'49.0", long 106°33'16.7" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.09, T.14 S., R.82 W., Gunnison County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 14020001, on right bank 150 ft upstream from bridge on county road 742, 1.8 mi north of Taylor Park, and 20 mi northeast of Almont, CO.
DRAINAGE AREA - 40.4 mi².  
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 1313: Drainage area; WDR CO-90-2: 1988-89 (M). 
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 1929 to September 1934, September 1987 to September 1992. May 2021 to current year (seasonal records only). Records for 1929-34 provided by Colorado Division of Water Resources, published in WSP 1313.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 9,380 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. June 1929 to September 1934, water-stage recorder at different datum. Prior to May 26, 2021, at site at same location datum. Site flooded by Taylor Park Reservoir since 1937.
COOPERATION - This gage is part of the Next Generation Water Observing System (NGWOS) network.
REMARKS - Water year 2021; records fair except for the period May 26 to Aug. 25, and estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2022; records good except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2023; records good except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Several measurements of specific conductance and water temperature were obtained and were published elsewhere in the U.S.G.S. Water Resources Data Reports, Volume 2 (1990-1992).
