LOCATION - Lat 38°49'04.57", long 106°33'38.70" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.20, T.14 S., R.82 W., Gunnison County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 14020001, on left bank on upstream side of bridge, 285 ft west-northwest of County Roads 742 and 55, 2.41 mi west of the dam at Taylor Park Reservoir, and 29.7 mi southwest of Aspen.
DRAINAGE AREA - 63 mi².  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 2021 to current year (seasonal records only).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 9,354.96 ft above NAVD of 1988, from GNSS survey.  Prior to May 26, 2021, the elevation of gage was reported as 9,368 ft above NAVD of 1988, from digital map.
COOPERATION - This gage is part of the Next Generation Water Observing System (NGWOS) network.
REMARKS - Water year 2021; records fair except for the period May 25 to June 14, and estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2022; records good except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2023; records good except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2024; records good except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor.
