LOCATION - Lat 38°51'23.94", long 107°03'35.18" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.12, T.14 S., R.87 W., Gunnison County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 14020001, on right bank 78 ft south of County Road 12, 150 ft upstream of mouth to Coal Creek, and 4 mi west-southwest of Crested Butte, CO.
DRAINAGE AREA - 8.65 mi².  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2017 to current year (seasonal records only).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry, crest-stage gage and Parshall flume. Datum of gage is 9,568.63 ft above NAVD of 1988, from GNSS survey.  Prior to Sept. 12, 2022, the elevation of gage was reported as 9,570 ft above NAVD of 1988, from digital map.
REMARKS - Water year 2018; records fair except for flows below 2.6 ft3/s, and estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2019; records poor.
