LOCATION - Lat 39°40'03", long 111°18'41" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.25, T.13 S., R.5 E., Sanpete County, UT, Hydrologic Unit 14060007, on right bank 1,000 ft upstream from tunnel portal, 7.3 mi east-northeast of Fairview.
REVISIONS HISTORY -

A 0.00 cfs Discharge Peak for 2020 Water Year on 10/01/2019 was approved in error sometime around Apr 2020 and deleted on 12/10/2020.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 1967 to current year. Seasonal records only. (July to September 1967, gage height only.)
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, crest-stage gage and Parshall flume. Prior to WY 2014 located 0.5 mi upstream of tunnel mouth and diversions. After WY 2014 stage recorder located at the mouth of the tunnel. Datum of gage is 8,652.01 ft. above NAVD of 1988 from a Level II GNSS survey conducted on August 9, 2023 by USGS personnel.
REMARKS - Records good to fair. Fairview Tunnel diverts from San Rafael River and Price River drainages in the Colorado River Basin to San Pitch River in the Great Basin.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum daily discharge, 54 ft³/s, Jun 17, 1993; no flow many days each year.
