LOCATION - Lat 37°25'19.06", long 107°50'42.34" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in sec.03, T.36 N., R.9 W., La Plata County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 14080104, on right bank 20 ft downstream from private bridge, 0.8 mi northwest of Hermosa, and 2.2 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 172 mi².  
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 1313: 1927(M).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - November and December 1911 (gage heights and discharge measurements only), January 1912 to September 1914, October 1919 to September 1928, October 1939 to September 1980, March 2020 to current year (seasonal records only). Monthly discharge only for some periods, published in WSP 1313.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 6,735 ft. above NAVD of 1988, from digital map. Prior to September 1914, nonrecording gage and April 1920 to September 1928, water-stage recorder (nonrecording gage for short periods), within 0.5 mi (0.8 km) at different datums.
