LOCATION - Lat 37°14'57.35", long 107°52'21.30" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.32, T.34 1/2 N., R.9 W., La Plata County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 14080104, on right bank on downstream side of footbridge, 1.0 mi upstream from U.S. Highways 160 and 550 bridge at Carbon Junction, and 1.5 mi downstream from Lightner Creek, in Durango.

DRAINAGE AREA - 775 mi².

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 6,437.40 ft above NAVD of 1988 (levels by private engineering firm).
