LOCATION - Lat 34°36'17", long 109°29'19" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 SE 1/4 NW 1/4 T.14 N., R.27 E., Apache County, AZ, Hydrologic Unit 15020002, on left bank 0.50 mi downstream from Zion Reservoir, 10 mi northwest of St. Johns.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,171 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR AZ-11-1: Drainage Area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Sept. 1998 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 5511.382 ft above NAVD of 1988
REMARKS - Records poor. Flow is regulated by several small reservoirs, combined capacity about 15,500 acre-feet. Diversions for irrigation of about 6,700 acres above the station. Published under station number 09386100, from Sept. 1998 to Sept. 30, 2003.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 13,300ft³/s 7/24/2021, gage height, 16.03 ft, from an indirect measurement (Slope Area). Minimum daily discharge, no flow for many days.
