LOCATION - Lat 36°48'35.6", long 114°00'53.1" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 SW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.03, T.39 N., R.16 W., Mohave County, AZ, Hydrologic Unit 15010010, on right bank, approximately 1 mi downstream from point of diversion from the Virgin River, and 0.5 mi southeast of Mesquite.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Apr. 1951 to Sep. 1955; Nov. 8, 2008 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 1,610 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map. Before 2008, site at location 1 mile downstream at different datum. 
REMARKS - 10/01/2013-09/30/2014: Records fair except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. 10/01/2014-09/30/2015: Records poor. 10/01/2015-09/30/2016: Records fair. 10/01/2016-09/30/2017: Records fair. 10/01/2017-09/30/2018: Records good. 10/01/2018-09/30/2019: Records fair. 10/01/2019-09/30/2020: Records fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum daily discharge, 85 ft³/s, Feb. 15, 2013, gage height, 16.97 ft; maximum gage height, 17.45 ft, Jan. 13, 2012 (backwater caused by debris); no flow at times many years.
