LOCATION - Lat 40°04'34.6", long 111°22'57.5" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.33, T.8 S., R.5 E., Utah County, UT, Hydrologic Unit 16020202, on right bank 0.5 mi upstream from Red Hollow, 8.0 mi upstream from mouth, and 9 mi northeast of Thistle.
DRAINAGE AREA - 97 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Revision: The water year 2020 peak gage height was revised on January 15, 2021.  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2001 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 5,377.20 ft. above NAVD of 1988 from a Level II GNSS survey conducted on August 4, 2023.
REMARKS - Records are generally good except for estimates, which are poor. Flow includes water diverted from Strawberry Reservoir (capacity, 1,106,500 acre-ft) since June 30, 1973, in Colorado River Basin via Strawberry Tunnel for irrigation in vicinity of Spanish Fork.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 970 ft³/s, May 14, 2023, gage height, 7.27 ft; maximum gage height 7.72 feet, January 5, 2019 (backwater from ice), minimum daily discharge, 17.6 ft³/s, Jan 2, 2022.
