LOCATION - Lat 39°44'39", long 113°53'21" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 NW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.28, T.12 S., R.18 W., Juab County, UT, Hydrologic Unit 16020306, on left bank 2.9 mi upstream from Birch Creek, and 14 mi southwest of Callao.
DRAINAGE AREA - 8.19 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR UT-77-1: Drainage area. Prior to August 24, 2023 the elevation of the gage was reported as 6,200 ft above NGVD of 1929 from a topographic map.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1958 to September 1995, July 2002 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 6,332.16 ft. above NAVD of 1988 from a Level II GNSS survey conducted on August 24, 2023. Prior to July 2002 at datum 3.00 ft higher.
REMARKS - Records are fair except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 177 ft³/s, Jun 2, 1983, gage height, 2.84 ft, datum then in use; minimum, 0.24 ft³/s, Feb 25, 1969.
