LOCATION - Lat 39°28'55", long 112°23'35" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 NE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.27, T.15 S., R.5 W., Millard County, UT, Hydrologic Unit 16030005, on right bank 1.6 mi downstream from highway bridge and 3.5 mi southwest of Lynndyl.
DRAINAGE AREA - 5,966 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 1914 to October 1919, October 1942 to current year. Monthly discharge only for some periods, published in WSP 1314.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest stage gage. Datum of gage is 4,670.65 ft. above NAVD of 1988 from a Level II GNSS survey conducted on September 15, 2023. Prior to October 1, 1979; and April 23, 1991 to October 12, 2018; at site 80 ft upstream, same datum.
REMARKS - Records good except for estimated daily discharges, which are fair. Flow regulated by Sevier Bridge Reservoir about 35 mi upstream. Several diversions for irrigation between reservoir and station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum daily discharge, 5,020 ft³/s, Jun 15, 16, 17, 1983; minimum discharge, 2.4 ft³/s, Jan 26, 1980.
