LOCATION - Lat 37°07'23", long 121°33'06" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.29, T.9 S., R.4 E., Santa Clara County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18050003, on right bank, 2000 ft below Coyote Reservoir Dam, and 4.1 mi northeast of San Martin.
DRAINAGE AREA - 120 mi².  
REVISIONS HISTORY - Discharge for the period Feb. 16, 2019, to Mar. 21, 2019, was revised on Sep. 9, 2019, based on changes to the stage-discharge rating. Discharge for the period of Dec. 10, 2023, to Dec. 15, 2023, was revised on Feb. 27, 2024, based on changes to the stage-discharge rating.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 28, 2017 to current year.  CHEMICAL DATA: March 1987 to August 1987.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 668.16 ft above NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS - Flows regulated by Coyote Reservoir 0.44 mi upstream of gage, usable capacity 23,244 acre-ft.  Flow from the gage empties into Anderson Reservoir, which has a capacity of 90,373 acre-ft.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 1,560 ft³/s, Jan 16, 2023, gage height, 10.74 ft; minimum daily, 0.67 ft³/s, May. 14, 2022.
