LOCATION - Lat 38°26'43", long 122°48'22" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.24, T.7 N., R.9 W., Sonoma County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18010110, on right bank, upstream side of Willowside Road bridge, 1.6 mi upstream of the confluence of Laguna de Santa Rosa, and 5.4 mi west of Santa Rosa.
DRAINAGE AREA - 77.6 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WRD CA-01-2: 1999-2000 (peaks above base).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - December 1998 to current year. SEDIMENT DATA: Water years 2007-08 (storm season only).
GAGE - Water-stage and recorder. Datum of gage is NGVD 1929 and 2.36 ft above NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS - Backwater conditions from Laguna de Santa Rosa can occur during periods of heavy rainfall. Diversions upstream from station for irrigation of about 7,000 acres. See schematic diagram of Russian River Basin available from the California Water Science Center.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 8,100 ft³/s, Feb. 26, 2019, gage height, 72.10 ft; peak gage height, 72.78, Feb. 27, 2019, from backwater; no flow on several days.
