12098700 WHITE RIVER AT HEADWORKS ABOVE FLUME NEAR BUCKLEY, WA
LOCATION - Lat 47°10'12", long 122°00'05" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.02, T.19 N., R.6 E., Pierce County, WA, Hydrologic Unit 17110014, on left bank of the diversion dam, 1.2 mi east-northeast of Buckley, and at mile 24.2.
DRAINAGE AREA - 410 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - The maximum turbidity value on Oct. 16, 2012 was revised on Jan. 21, 2014, based on further analysis.

INSTRUMENTATION - Multiparameter water quality sonde interfaced with a Data Collection Platform/Electronic Datalogger, with 15-min recording interval, since May 2010. Turbidity sensor is a Eureka Manta+ turbidity sensor installed on a multi-parameter sonde, since April 2021.  Prior to April 2021 turbidity sensor was a 6136 installed on a YSI 6920 V2-2 sonde. REMARKS - Additional details are available from the Washington Water Science Center. Continuous water quality record is no longer rated, as of water year 2021. Prior ratings can be obtained via request to the Washington Water Science Center.
  • Water Year 2019: Due to dam reconstruction, data from Oct. 17 to May 28 does not represent all the White River flow, but instead represents only some flow to both the White River Flume and back into the White River downstream of the diversion dam.
