SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 2014 to January 2024.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS - No known regulation or diversion upstream from station. Stage was influenced by backwater from downstream water impoundment caused by SR530 landslide March to April 2014. U.S. Geological Survey satellite telemeter at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 19,300 ft³/s, Dec. 2, 2023, gage height, 283.20 ft; maximum gage height, 287.81 ft. (backwater affected) on April 9, 2014; minimum daily discharge, 97.5 ft³/s, Oct. 20, 2022.

PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - TURBIDITY: September 2015 to November 2019.
INSTRUMENTATION - TURBIDITY: Turbidity sensor (FTS DTS-12) interfaced with a Data Collection Platform/Electronic Data Logger, with 15-min recording interval, since September 2015. Any use of trade, product, or firm names in this publication is for descriptive purposes only and does not imply endorsement by the U.S. Government.
REMARKS -
  • Water Year 2016: TURBIDITY records good. No record May 9-14.
  • Water Year 2017: TURBIDITY records good except from June 15 to Sep. 30 which are fair. No record Dec. 9-10, 14-15 and July 11-13.
  • Water Year 2018: TURBIDITY records good, except turbidity below 100 FNU which are fair. No record Oct. 18-19, Nov. 29 to Dec. 1, Jan. 30, Feb. 1-2, June 11-19, July 1, Aug. 23, and Sept. 8-11.
  • Water Year 2019: TURBIDITY records good, except turbidity below 100 FNU which are fair. No record Oct. 5,6, 21-31, Nov. 1, 3, 5-9.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - TURBIDITY: Maximum, 1,370 FNU, Nov. 22, 2017; minimum, 0.01 FNU, Nov. 8, 2019.
