LOCATION - Lat 48°29'43.86", long 114°00'36.75" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SH 1/4 SW 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.34, T.32 N., R.19 W., Flathead County, MT, Hydrologic Unit 17010207, on left bank 0.8 mi downstream from McDonald Creek, 1.3 mi west of West Glacier, and at river mile 3.8.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,125 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Water Supply Paper 1216: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1939 to current year. Prior to October 1947, published as "near Belton."
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 3,128.72 ft, referenced to the National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Prior to Nov. 22, 1950, non-recording gage at present site and elevation. Bureau of Reclamation data collection platform with satellite telemetry at the station.
REMARKS -  
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum peak flow on basis of a contracted opening measurement. Minimum low flow stage below the intakes.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
