LOCATION - Lat 47°28'36", long 116°13'18" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.28, T.48 N., R.2 E., Shoshone County, ID, Hydrologic Unit 17010302, Masonia quad., on right bank at upstream side of Bureau of Land Management road bridge, 80 ft upstream from Nabob Creek, 1.2 mi upstream from confluence with Pine Creek, and 4.3 mi south of Pinehurst.
DRAINAGE AREA - 28.2 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1999 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage datum is arbitrary.
REMARKS -

The practice of using qualitative ratings to describe data accuracy was discontinued in Water Year 2017.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum daily discharge, 847 ft³/s Mar. 9, 2014, maximum gage-height 5.36 ft, March 18, 2017; minimum daily, 4.0 ft³/s Sept. 22, 24, 2001.

REMARKS - Turbidity data collected prior to 2001 water year not published. Selected high-turbidity observations made during summer months may actually be fouling due to periphytic growth.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - WATER TEMPERATURE: Maximum, 21.0 °C July 27, 29-31, Aug. 1, 2003, July 23, 2007; minimum, 0.0 °C many days during winter months, but lower recorded temperatures Jan. 10-12, 2011.
