LOCATION - Lat 47°11'22", long 119°15'53" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.35, T.20 N., R.28 E., Grant County, WA, Hydrologic Unit 17020015, on left bank at downstream side of highway bridge, 3.0 mi upstream from Parker Horn, 4.0 mi north of town of Moses Lake, and at mile 63.0.
DRAINAGE AREA - 2,228 mi². of which 219 mi² in the vicinity of Long Lake Reservoir is noncontributing.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

GAGE -

Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1,070.39 ft above Bureau of Reclamation datum and 1073.105 ft above NAVD July 14, 1956, at site 300 ft upstream at same datum.

REMARKS - Numerous small diversions for irrigation and domestic use upstream from station. Most natural flow from upper basin passes this station underground. No known regulation. Since 1952, return flow from irrigation on Columbia Basin project has increased runoff during summer months. Bureau of Reclamation satellite telemeter at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 10,400 ft³/s, Feb. 28, 1957, gage height, 6.81 ft; no flow for several months each year prior to 1952 and part of each day Jan. 14, 15, 1953.
