LOCATION - Lat 43°58'01", long 111°40'21" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in sec.06, T.7 N., R.41 E., Fremont County, ID, Hydrologic Unit 17040203, Saint Anthony quad., on right bank 0.5 mi. upstream from bridge on the main street of St. Anthony, 6.4 mi. downstream from Fall River, and at mile 32.4.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,770 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 1919 to current year (irrigation seasons only prior to 1962).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 4,953.19 feet above NAVD 1988 (USGS). March 1919 to May 7, 1922, non-recording gages, and May 8, 1922 to Aug. 14, 1931, water-stage recorder, at site 150 ft. downstream at datum 0.08 ft. lower.
REMARKS - Diversions above station for irrigation of about 21,000 acres below and about 58,000 acres above station of which about 1,100 acres are irrigated by withdrawals from ground water (1966 determination). Flow regulated by power plant about 17 mi. above station, and by Henrys Lake (see station 13039000), Island Park Reservoir and Grassy Lake.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge recorded, 14,000 ft³/s June 8, 2011, gage height, 8.84 ft; minimum discharge, 14 ft³/s July 20, 2010, gage height, 2.08 ft, minimum recorded gage height, 1.91 ft. July 9, 1973.
