LOCATION - Lat 44°08'19", long 113°14'43" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.04, T.9 N., R.27 E., Butte County, ID, Hydrologic Unit 17040217, Bell Mountain quad., U.S. Bureau of Land Management lands, on right bank at Clyde School, 0.25 mi downstream from Wet Creek, and 27 mi northwest of Howe.
DRAINAGE AREA - 436 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1958 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 5,877.36 feet above NAVD 1988 (USGS).
REMARKS - Diversions above station for irrigation of about 3,800 acres, of which about 2,000 acres are irrigated by withdrawals from groundwater (1966 determination).
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 509 ft³/s June 16, 1975, gage height, 3.19 ft, but may have been greater during period of doubtful gage-height record in 1958; maximum gage height recorded, 5.99 ft, Feb. 8, 1979, backwater from ice; minimum discharge recorded, 2.8 ft³/s Dec. 13, 1962.
