LOCATION - Lat 43°30'57", long 113°04'55" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.11, T.2 N., R.28 E., Butte County, ID, Hydrologic Unit 17040218, Arco Hills SE quad., on right bank, 0.2 mi north of the head of the INL diversion, 4.5 mi south of State Highway 20-26 bridge over the Big Lost River, and 13.2 mi southeast of Arco.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - 1965-68 (discharge measurements only); June 1984 to September 2012; March to August 2013); April 2014 to current year (seasonal records only).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 5,003.01 feet above NAVD 1988 (USGS).
REMARKS - Flow regulated by Mackay Reservoir (see station 13126000) and INL diversion (see station 13132513). Station is below all diversions for irrigation in the Big Lost River Valley and is below the Idaho National Laboratory diversion for flood control.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum daily discharge, 468 ft³/s June 13, 1997; no flow on many days, each year.
